Upminster Infant School to Upminster Junior School
Havering no longer operate an automatic transfer system. Parents wishing to apply for Upminster Junior School MUST APPLY online via E-Admissions before the published deadline.
After Looked After and Previously Looked After children, priority is still given to pupils currently on roll in Year 2 at Upminster Infant School.
Secondary School Appeals
Havering School Admissions have advised that primary school should not offer to write character references for Year 6 Pupils appealing for a place at secondary school.
The reason for this is that it is seen as showing favour to one secondary school above another and in doing so asking for that school to exceed their statutory number of children on roll. It is unfair for any primary school to ask this of any secondary school.
We would therefore ask that you do not approach the school in this respect as we will have to decline.
